Weekly Notes #3: Theme for a Film

“If you don’t know what you’ve got, you don’t know what you’ve lost.”

This track is much shorter than the two previous Weekly Notes and differs greatly in the sense that it is a piece of composition rather than improvisation. I wrote it one and a half years ago as a theme for a title-less fictional film that I had imagined in my mind. I don’t remember much of the plot of the film, but the theme stuck on and it has regularly popped back into my mind from time to time, effectively causing its preservation.

Anyway, keeping with the tradition of these weekly notes, I shall now provide you with the first take to enjoy. I haven’t written down the score, but I intend to do so shortly and provide it here on the blog for your (and my) convenience.
